My Precious friend,
I have been neglecting my reading and have missed out on a couple of months of reading your blogs - but I will not delete any of them till I read it all as I am always blessed when I do so.
Gratitude - O my - words are not enough to tell you what is in my heart as I read about mum, but I feel for you pain, your sadness and tears and yet I am marveled at your attitude of gratitude. May HIS PEACE be your portion. Love and hugs - Mich

Dearest precious Mich,
Thanks so much for taking the time to read my blogs despite your busy life. Bless you.
I knew you would understand and feel my pain. Thank you dearest sis. Thank you for understanding and thank you for your prayers. Yes, His peace has under-girded me the past 3 weeks since she passed away. Very encouraged by the prayers of faithful friends.
Much love and many thanks,
Anu xo

Dearest Anu,
As I read through your tribute to your dear mother, I could almost picture Aunty Anne smiling with pride at her baby daughter's appreciation. What a wonderful Mother you have been blessed with. God knew you even before you were born and He chose you your Mother. May the thought that she has gone back to her Maker, satisfy you and may the peace that passéth all understanding dawn upon you. May the Lord's arms surround you and keep you in His care. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
Much Love, chits.

Dearest Chits,
Thanks so much for your loving note and thanks for your prayers which have blessed me. I agree that I was very blessed to have Amma as my Mother. And yes, I am glad she is free from pain and suffering now and is rejoicing in His Presence. You know what it is like to lose a beloved beautiful Mother too - so thank you so much for understanding.
Much love and a big thank you,
Anu xo

Subject: Sympathies
Hi Anusha,
Not sure if you will remember me (nee Allegakoen). Your wonderful mum taught me at Sunday School many moons ago and I am thankful that she impacted my life when she did. Since then, though not in direct contact, I have heard about and read much of what she has written and I greatly admire her courage, conviction and authenticity. Her purposive love of life till Jesus called her home is something I particularly admire. What a well run race!
While the parting is always sad, you have so much to be thankful for in the beautiful memories and fragrance she has left behind. May the Lord comfort you and all the family at this sad time - please particularly convey my sympathies to Rohan and Suvendrini who I will catch up with on their return to Sydney.
Btw, where exactly do you live?
Praying that the Lord Jesus Himself will be your comfort and will give you His peace.
Blessings
Sharminie

Hi Sharminie,
Thanks so much for your lovely message. Of course I remember you although it's been a long time since we connected. That's lovely to hear Amma was your Sunday School teacher and that you have read a lot of what she has written. Yes, hers was indeed a well run race. Just read your message and sent your words of symapthy to Rohan and Swen who are just leaving Sri Lanka today. We live in Adelaide - so we are not too far from you.
Thank you for your prayers which made a difference in my life these past 2 difficult weeks.
Blessings and thanks,
Anusha

Dearest Anu,
Thank you for your excellent blog tribute to your dear mum, Aunty Anne. It is such a privilege and blessing to have had a wonderful mother, who is your forever friend. She was one special lady! Over the years I have always loved reading her articles which she wrote in the newspapers and I really enjoyed her book " Hurrah for large families!". I spoke to her on the phone in April 2014 when I was last in SL and was very impressed that her memory and interest the she had in everyone hadn't diminished in the passing years! You have certainly inherited that same gift for writing and your love for others.
You will miss the daily emails from her, but it is great that you will have those precious letters to read through again. Isn't it a great comfort to know that death is not the end and that she is now in the glorious presence of her Lord and Saviour and reunited with your dad. I pray that the God of all comfort be your strength and peace at this time of sadness. Praying for a safe and uneventful journey as you travel to SL.
With much love and hugs,
Dashika xo

Dearest Dashika,
Thanks so much for your beautiful heartfelt message which blessed me so. Lovely to hear that you had connected with Amma last year. Yes, her memory was amazing - much better than mine! :) And she was deeply interested in everyone.
You are right that I have a treasure trove to dip into - something I am doing little by little so I can savour it all. And yes, I am so glad she is enjoying God's glorious presence now - with no more sadness and no more pain.
Thanks so much for your love and prayers which have helped me through this sad time.
Many blessings dear friend.
And lots of love and hugs right back,
Anu xo

Subject: weeping for our world
Right now I know of 5 ladies who love the Lord but are really 'low in spirit' as they are hurting.
Please pray for them (as Sal's friends) that they may feel our Saviour's presence & comfort and that they will be able to look upwards in hope no matter what.
thanks love

Thanks for sharing darling sis. Will lift them before the Lord. I too know of many hurting people who need is comfort and solace. There is too much sadness in the world isn't there?
Thank God for Jesus and the hope He brings us,
Much love,
Anu xo
