Hi darling Sal,
Sounds like you know what I am talking about. Bless you. I can well understand that after such a moving experience (as it sounds) at Kilinochi - it must be hard to get back to focusing on other matters in hand. I have been praying for your Bible study. So glad God brought you the ideas you needed. Praise Him. May He continue to lead you and use you and refresh you.
Much love and hugs,
Anu xo

Subject: A heart of Compassion
Hi sis,
this is something I have prayed for too..I think of the saying by the founder of World Vision who said " Break my heart by the things that break the heart of God."(or something close to that!!)
Yes, I agree totally it's the waves, the storms, the pain, the heartaches, the difficulties which teach us about compassion....God's compassion and His compassion shown by the body isn't it? I am reminded of Lam.3:22-23 "...His compassions never fail..."
Thanks for teaching me too through your compassionate heart sis!
love

Hi dearest Sal,
Lovely to hear that you too have prayed for a compassionate heart. Thanks for quoting Lamentations 3:22-23 which would be a good 2 verses for me to reflect on this morning.
And thank you for teaching me so much through your own compassionate heart which reaches out to so many with His love.
Lots of love,
Anu xo

Subject: i saw you
hi anusha,
I came to your blog on my PC versus the usual method (my BB where sometimes I am unable to download the blog) and it led me to check the guestbook... I began reading Sal's message to you in response to "I saw you". I had missed that week :(
anyway, it piqued my curiosity, as it is something I am struggling with too... excellent idea..... plan to try it. with that in mind I went online to find out exactly what the process might be... this is what I found... which helped me to understand the gist of it!! in case I am not the only clueless soul who may benefit from it, here is the link: https://www.ibenedictines.org/2011/01/07/lectio-divina/
thank you for sharing your thoughts on this subject.... gonna try it out starting tomorrow morning......

Hi Renuka,
Lovely to see you here and thanks for reading and responding. Great to hear you are trying lectio divina too.My Amma to tried it as did Sal. I can send you another couple of pages about it if you like! :) Thanks for the link. Am sure it will bless anyone who pops in here too.
Have fun.. or rather enjoy yourself. I found it very helpful - although lately I've been doing my usual bible study since I've been making more time for my QT.
Blessings and love,
Anusha xo

Subject: I saw you!
Dearest sis,
Here I am on my last relaxed Monday morn..as the vacation ends soon. I like the idea of what you have shared about this method of prayer...I think I will try that too...lovely.
What encouragement to know "He saw us and sees us!" I forwarded your link just now to someone in pain both physical and emotional. Recently doing a series of mothers of the Bible we came across this phrase "and God remembered" and we were so encouraged. So thank you for sharing this thought. By the way love the first pic of you on this week's blog!
with grateful thanks
